A convenient and easy-to-apply photodetector for robotic line-following and position detection purposes. These unique devices generate electricity and are low impedance, making them ideal for matching to a simple one-transistor amplifier for control applications (see data sheet below). Centralab EA7 microminiature photovoltaic detector (photocell). Brand new and unused old stock from 1991. Sold by All Electronics back in the mid-nineties as their part number PVD-1.
