FD2728 28-SOIC to .600 DIP Adapter/Prototype Board
Accepts 14 to 28-pin SOIC (0.05in/1.27mm pitch)
For prototype and development, just add parts and plug in
The FD2728 adapter provides ample space for a variety of medium density surface mount circuit designs. The peripheral part mounting zones and circuit foils permit the installation of devices in-line with the IC, or across adjoining circuit. Foil modification (see below) and jumpers can be used to configure board to meet 0603, 0805, Mini-Melf, A-size (3216-18 EIA) Tantalum devices and many more. Diodes, inductors, LED’s and other device within size range above can be mounted as well. This 28-pin DIP can be plugged into a 600 mils sockets or solder less breadboards, or soldered onto a prototype board. This little board is great for a wide range of usage.
Foil Modification Expand Versatility:
1. Score foil with sharp razor to cut the circuit
3. New mounting zone has been created
4. Solder component to new mounting zone
Board Material: 0.062 in. thick FR-4, Glass Epoxy or equivalent.
Circuit: 1 oz copper with solder coated pads both sides.
DIP: 28 pins, 600 mils, 0.1 in pitch.
