Very lightly used DAYTON 7-1/2 horsepower, single-phase, 230 volt, totally-enclosed fan-cooled, L215T frame, electric motor.
Has 1-3/8 inch shaft, 3 inches long, with 5/16 inch keyway. It is reversible to run either clockwise or counter clockwise.

I purchased this motor about fifteen years ago from a local dealer; I believe that it was new at the time. I used it on a machine that I built (a wide drum sander), which did not perform quite as well as I had hoped. After about an hour of testing, the sander turned into a piece of basement art, which I scrapped about ten years later to make room for a new machine. I saved the motor, thinking it would be perfect for an air compressor or dust collector (which it would), but never had occasion to use it. Now it is time to sell it, to make space. I have tested it, and it works perfectly.
