The lightweight motor design, with it’s inherent small mechanical time constant, achieves outstanding response time and very fast load acceleration. Motor construction allows efficient heat dissipation, permitting large overloads while allowing full rated torque from stall to maximum speed continuously; making these motors ideal for use in hard, dynamic duty cycle applications preciously outside the capability of electric servo-power.
Without commutator or brushes, these permanent magnet motors are maintenance free – during the working life of your machine. Smooth rotation at low speed is another main feature of the design – essential for positioning applications where accuracy is critical.
With these advantages, this motor is equally suited to production machine drives or high technology equipment. Examples of applications include punch presses, machine tool feed drives, robots, cut to length systems, transfer machines, laser cutting tables, aircraft and rocket actuators, specialized machines for textile, chemical, glass, printing and many more industries.
