Relative humidity module using a humirel HS1101 sensor
This is fuly assembled package as shown which may be interfaced with a BasicX BX24, PICAXE, Microchip PIC or any similar proeccessor to measure relative humidity and temperature.
The design uses a Humirel HS1101 sensor which changes capacitance as a function of relative humidity. This is used with a free running 555 clock. Thus, by measuring the number of counts over a period of time, the RH may be calculated.
The design also includes a 10K negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor which may be used in a voltage divider arrangement to measure temperature.
The board is 13/16 inches wide by 1-5/16 inches deep.
