The EFA TV Test Receiver and Demodulator Family has outstanding performance features and excellent transmission characteristics. They are able to receive and demodulate both conventional AM vestigial sideband signals and quadrature-amplitude-modulated DVB signals with high precision, measure a variety of transmission parameters and are ideal for measurement and monitoring applications in cable networks and TV transmitter stations
* Carries out all relevant measurements on QAM signals for DVB
* Integrated noise generator for measurement of noise margin
* Storage for 1000 errors - signal level. synchronisation. bit error rate. non-corrected MPEG errors
* Collects. stores and evaluates almost 1 million measured values within a second
* Calculates the channel echo as well as the amplitude and phase / frequency response of the total transmission link and displays them graphically
* IF filters of various bandwidths specially developed for DVB
* Self-adapting equaliser for in-depth signal analysis in transmission channel: echo measurement. amplitude and phase response
