My other motor controller kits are very popular, however some people need more torque than the small motor with the other kit can provide. This is a brand new Image one and one half horsepower variable speed motor for your lathe, knife grinder, belt sander, bandsaw, or whatnot. This setup includes the motor, control electronics, controller box, cords, and even a pulley. No wiring required, simply mount the motor, and plug the controller into any 115v outlet. Single 1/2" v-belt pully included, 2" diameter. Reversing switch on control box. (DON'T change directions with motor running!) Motor mounts with square mounting base (see picture). For scale, see tape measure in picture.. Speed range is about about 50rpm to about 3000rpm. Speed is controlled by a dail on the control box.
These ARE designed for continuous, full power output.
