This filter is NOS from an OEM. The filter is used to isolate the output from a low pressure Hydrogen discharge at 656.3nm.
This filter has a very sharp single transmission peak with a HBW 3nm.The filter has about 70% transmission, and controls the light from the deep UV to >1200nm.
A good application would be to mount in front of a detector, to remove room light. Also can be used as a very high resolution filter for the output of this light source.
Specifications follow:CWL 656.3nm +-0.1nm, HBW 3.0nm nominal, Minimun Transmission 70%, Size 25mm +-.2mm. Transmission Curve provided.
