1N34A like germanium point contact mystery diodes

Here are some NEW (old stock) Germanium point contact type diodes. I wish could tell you
their part #, but I don't know it. What I do know is that they have a really low forward voltage
drop as measured with a meter under no load.
I checked some 1N34As and some 1N60s and they measured .31V and .32-.33V respectively.
These little yellow banded mystery diodes out did them with a forward drop of only .25 to .28V.
These would be great for many uses that I can think of:
Simple A.M. detector for a crystal receiver
Use in a Foster-Seeley discriminator for F.M. signals
A cheap low loss way of rectifying small ac signals for level measurement
As a rectifier for an inexpensive RF Probe
A good rectifier for use in an Op-Amp peak detector
Use as a low loss blocking diode in digital circuits and el-cheapo programmers
The sale is for a package of 25 of these yellow banded mystery diodes !
