The MKS Type 660 is a microprocessor-based power supply and readout module for use with capacitance manometers and mass flow meters requiring ±15 VDC and 250 mA maximum power, and any output signal in the range of 0-10 VDC. The front panel's menu-selectable, input scaler, and Full Scale calibration functions allow for direct reading with any capacitance manometer range or engineering units, and compensation for gas correction factors when used with mass flow meters. Sensor zero is provided via the front panel membrane switch, and remotely via TTL signals or with the RS-232 communications option.
The Type 660 features four open collector alarm trip points with status LEDs and adjustable hysteresis, as well as a user-friendly, single-level menu structure for all setup functions. Pressure output, alarm status, and setup functions are also available on the optional RS-232 interface. The 660B is designed to be used with Type 121, 221, 223, 622, 623, 624, 626, 627 or 722 capacitance manometers and Type 179 and 358 mass flow meters.
The flexible design of the Type 722 (1.5 inch, 85.7 mm diameter) makes it an ideal solution for retrofit applications as well as new equipment designs. The input power is +13 to + 32 VDC or +10.8 to +32 VDC with output signals of 0-10 VDC or 0-5 VDC, respectively. The accuracy is 0.5% of Reading and the unit operates at ambient temperature.
