The seller does not have calibration equipment to fully qualify such a gauge, but he did test it to the extent of first using the scale adjustment knob to zero the gauge at atmospheric pressure, then evacuating it to a pressure of approximately 50 milliTorr (microns) - with the needle settling at a reading of 29.8-29.9 inches Hg.
