Vintage surplus suppliers list this Allen Bradley resistor for approximately $6.00+ apiece... though most of them are OUT OF STOCK. Check for yourself! (... do a search for Allen Bradley Resistors at Surplus Sales of Nebraska. They are OUT OF STOCK but might still list the part from a few years ago... OR... you can compare prices with their other low-stock values.)
There is a LIMITED SUPPLY of Allen Bradley Carbon Composition Resistors on the planet, as production in the U.S.A. has ceased for quite some time. What there is is ALL there is... all that ever will be. Much of the classic vintage tube gear was built using this type of (now) antique carbon resistor. Allen-Bradley is considered to be the best example of this type of resistor found in most classic tube gear.
