A FEW YEARS AGO, vintage surplus suppliers listed this Allen Bradley resistor for $8.00 apiece... that is, IF they were lucky enough to still have had it in stock. Check for yourself! (...at Surplus Sales of Nebraska. They are OUT OF STOCK but might still list the part or its replacement/other brand from several years ago... or compare with other similar LOW STOCK values at $9.00.)

Most of our resistors were acquired from an RF Lab where over 50% had been tested. This is new old stock, MADE IN THE U.S.A. and stored in a climate-controlled environment throughout its lifetime.
