The state-of-the-art microprocessor circuitry accurately detects wood and metal studs and joists through drywall, plywood, paneling and flooring up to ¾ " thick. The tool emits progressive, audible “chirps,†while bright LEDs illuminate to indicate both edges of a stud.
The metal marking scribe enables the user to instantly mark stud edges without picking up a pencil or moving the tool.
