We just bought out a long time Phoenix surplus electronics distributor. All of these parts are absolutely "as new", most are aerospace quality, and most are leading traditional American brands. The bulk of the items are unused production overstock. Offered items are not ROHS compatible or compliant.
Offered here are lots of twelve assorted premium quality hermetically sealed all metal crystal oscillator modules. There are two modules each in frequencies of 5.000, 6.000, 7.000, 8.000, 10.000 and 12.000 MHZ. These are perfect for hassle free PIC and other microprocessor clocks as well as being highly useful reference frequency standards.
These "full size" units are slightly larger than an ordinary integrated circuit but easily fit in a standard 14 pin narrow DIP socket. Models might include Dale XO-43B or Valpey Fisher VF150 or similar in a variety of part numbers. 8 MHz units may be half DIP size. 12 MHz units may lack factory frequency markings.
Pinouts are as follows: Pin 1 is either nc or a tristate enable that has to be high or floating when an output is desired. And grounded to disable. Pin 7 is ground. Pin 8 is the TTL and CMOS compatible output and pin 14 is the +5 volt DC supply. Other pins are not present. Typical current is under 20 ma. (8 MHz units similar on pins 1,4,5, and 8).
Stability is at least 100 ppm, equal to 0.01 percent or better. Thus quite useful but not oven stabilized.
Guaranteed usable. Received by us in very clean and as new but loose stock condition. May include very minor storage cosmetics.
