2 pole, 3 wire, plated copper solid neutral and phase conductor parts, uses plug fuses, 240 volt AC. Rated 1-1/2 HP NEC standard and 3 HP time delay at 240 volt AC, single phase. For residential or light commercial applications where duty is not severe. Typical loads include workshops, pumps, furnaces, water heaters and washers/dryers. Lightweight, corrosion resistant GE Valox thermoplastic enclosure with black matte finish. Front slides vertically to turn on and off. Use only 14-10 AWG copper wire. U.L. Listed (Enclosed Switches No.98); meets or exceeds NEMA standard No.KS1-1990 for type GD enclosed switches.
