19" panel rack cabinet power distribution box N179
19" rack mount power distribution box with switched/unswitched power control mfg by Digital computer. Units are either new or refurbished by the government. Ratings are as follows: Input 115V @ 24A using a twist lock plug and heavy power cord, 8 switched, 4 unswitched using 3 prong plugs, with circuit breaker protection. Has either stand-alone, local or remote power switching capabilities.
VA residents pay VA sales tax, unless a vaild VA state tax certificate is provided to us. We will accept either mailed or Faxed copies of your tax certificate.
The unit has a main power cord that supplies the unit with a stated power draw of 24A @ 115VAC, but inside is a 50A 3 pole contactor. There are 3 banks of 2 pairs of receptacles, each appearing to be capable of a max of 20A. There is a 3 pole main breaker that turn power on/off and it appears that each pole supplies the power to each bank, it also looks like it can be uncoupled to control each bank of receptacles separately. Two banks of receptacles can be switched by either a local or remote signal, and I believe that there is a small signal transformer to supply the switch signal, that will turn on/off the contactor.
